Anthony Valerio is the author of ten books of fiction & nonfiction, including ‘Conversation with Johnny;’ ‘Anita Garibaldi, a biography’ and ‘Toni Cade Bambara’s One Sicilian Night.’ His stories have appeared in the Paris Review and anthologized by Random House, William Morrow and the Viking Press. Mr. Valerio has taught at NYU, CUNY and Wesleyan University. He was a fiction judge at PEN’s Prison writing Committee.
